Observation

The act of observation can cause one to feel apart from nature. Although there seem to be advantages in the separation one feels from endeavoring to “fix” something from the outside, we must remember that we are forever a part of nature and though our vantage does not always include us, what we see without is but a mirror of the world within as the two are of the same naturality (essence). There is no separation, no distinction whatsoever between observer and observed. The observance itself, the awareness of one’s surroundings, is no different than awareness of self, as everything is connected and intertwined in the present. “The fish is the last to discover water because it’s been swimming in it all its life” just as man is the first to forget he is of nature as he is living in it at all times. It is only natural.
