Don’t Stop…

Don’t Stop…

You’re feeling inspired, now what? It is time to turn that inspiration into inspired action. It is time to mobilize, to create, to build, to reshape, to do whatever you must do to give breath and life to your desires. It is time to move with purpose, to utilize the energy you feel, to actualize the clarity your vision brings to mind, to hone the power of intention that is felt through this inspiration, and work with it to bring about the outcomes you wish to achieve. This phase of the process is labor intensive. You have already visualized what you want. This is when you must take the steps necessary to reach your goals by applying the inputs and efforts necessary to manifest your plans’ objectives and animate your ideas. All of this is what is meant by terms like, “strike whilst the iron is hot.” But, what is implied is more than simply waiting for the arrival of inspiration to propel us to react. It is not enough to be reactionary. We must be proactive, and thus, independent of outside influence and stimulation. We must reach a point where no external force is needed to rouse and spur us to act. We must also, in turn, reach a point where no external validation and assurances are required proceeding our actions. We must learn to find the motivation and energize ourselves towards our ends without the anticipation of some reward or recognition, as such a dependency and expectancy is not conducive to our sustained success. And, when defining success, it is worth noting that the achievement of ‘enjoyment of the process’ is as worthy an aim as any. It is in that achievement that the work ceases to feel as such, for love is born from passion and “Love is the death of duty.”
